Statement of Commitment to Accessibility

At Switch Health, we are committed to providing a healthy, barrier-free, inclusive, and accessible environment for all employees, customers, and stakeholders. Our goal is to identify, remove, and prevent barriers for people with disabilities and ensure that our workplace as well as our programs and services are fully accessible, both in physical and virtual environments.

We are dedicated to promoting dignity, independence, integration, and equality of opportunity to people with disabilities as we work towards integrating accessibility standards to ensure a welcoming environment for everyone.

As a new organization, we have made our first Multi-Year Accessibility Plan, which respects and upholds the requirements set forth under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA), and its associated regulations. We are committed to ensuring our organization’s compliance by incorporating accessibility legislation into all our policies, procedures, equipment requirements, training, and best practices. We will review these policies and practices annually, as organizational changes occur, or in anticipation of compliance deadlines. The policy will be applicable to all employees, customers and stakeholders that interact with Switch Health, including members of the public.

Providing an accessible and barrier-free environment is a shared effort, and we are committed as an organization to working with the necessary parties to make accessibility for all a reality.
