How do I register to start my self-collection?

  1. Go to https://portal.switchhealth.ca

  2. If you do not have an account, create an account by following the prompts.

  3. Once logged in, on the left-hand side click “Home Test”.

  4. Confirm the address for your home pick up. Try to complete your test when a same day pick up or drop off is possible.

  5. If you have a home collection kit in front of you, carefully open the box and find the Collection Tube with your nine-digit serial number. The Collection Tube should be located inside the biohazard bag. Enter the serial number or scan the barcode on the Collection Tube.

  6. Once complete, locate the waybill (the printed paper with Purolator shipping instructions). Find the twelve-digit serial number and either scan the barcode or manually enter the serial number.

  7. Once complete, join the queue for your call with a Switch Health nurse.
